She’s Got It!

DSC00745She’s Got It!

“All glorious is the princess within [her chamber];

her gown is interwoven with gold.”

Psalm 45:13

A familiar fog of gloom hovered above my head. A sense of dread roamed in my soul.

This day is doomed… you don’t add up.

And you don’t have permission to be happy.

That’s not my Daddy’s voice! Satan, you are an offense to me. I refuse you!

And in heaven the Lord rocked with the angels.

She’s got it. She’s got it. She knows she’s mine…knows she’s a daughterDSC00698

of the Most High God. And I love it!

The enemy struck again.

Remember the past? You’ll face it again. Remember the sorrow,

the disappointment. It owns you.

Bob stopped long enough to counsel me. “Margie, the Lord has commanded you to forget the past…just as He does. Satan will drag you down this path every chance he gets.” As he left for work he flashed a smile my way.  I had written a note on his lunch bag.

“Call upon Me, and I will show you wonderful things.”

“Wonderful things, Margie! The Lord wants you to think on wonderful things because He has wonderful things—for you.”

My pen moved quickly as I wrote God’s word to me. “I have commanded you to be strong and of good courage—even in your mind—especially in your mind. You are on the winning team. You are not like the people of Jericho whose hearts melted with dread. Be courageous to put on the mind of Christ. You have a work to do.”

I rose from my couch, went upstairs, and made my bed. I began to shout glory as I pulled the sheets up. I began to declare who He is as the blanket came up next. I preached the Word of His promises and arranged the pillows on the bedspread. The joy of the Lord flooded my soul and clapping my hands before Him I heard His applause in heaven.

  She’s got it. She’s got it. She knows she’s mine…knows she’s a

daughter of the Most High God. And I love it!

This is you, daughter of the King. Don’t give sway to threats of the enemy. Lift up your head and put on His garments. You neither cower nor cringe for a defeated foe. Hear God’s Word for you, beloved!DSC00697

My Darling, The enemy trembles when you pray. Know that I move in my Word with boldness and rest, my child. Rejoice in Me. Delight in Me. It is Father’s pleasure to give you the kingdom. You’ve got it!

Bold, bold, bold daughters of the King! And He loves it. ” I have no greater joy than to hear my children walk in truth.” III John 4 Thank you for stopping by, Judy! And be bold!

You are right, Margie! We must “put on the mind of Christ.” We “have work to do.” Whether it be prayer or praise or “making the bed,” we find our deepest joy in following the Lord. We must refuse to listen to the lies of Satan and listen instead to the loving voice of our dear Father. It is His joy to draw His children back to His heart. Thank you, Margie, for your love and insight!

Thank you, Robbie for your comments and you are right…of course! And how frustrating it is to Satan when we make up our bed and declare the Lord’s goodness and His victory over the Kingdom of darkness!
