“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth”
III John 1:4
Today I share with you my impressions from the heart of God for His people. This is an overflow from my post last week regarding my fears and the Word of God being our only source for peace and victory!
“The double minded man is easy prey for Satan. But it pleases Me when My children walk in My truth for they give me glory and honor and enter My Sabbath. Blessed are My children who lean completely on My work of righteousness in them. These will be My servants, My friends. There is no other way. Peace is the inheritance of My servants who cling totally to My Word not wavering from its truth, nor denying My pleasure to crown them with life and life abundantly.”
“So why do you stumble at My goodness toward you? And why do you question My lavish love to hold you and comfort you and say you are Mine? Do the scriptures lie? Is My Word null and void? Am I… a liar?
“Who redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies”
And the Lord continues to say:
“I have redeemed you not to fear but to wait for My goodness, My kindness. Fearful thoughts, of unheard, rejected prayer are not of Me. They don’t come from Me, are an offense to My Word … and a dishonor to Me and My powerful love for you. So a breach occurs between us when you harbor fear and expect evil tidings. Righteousness is expecting good from Me as did Abraham. Believing and resting in My Word puts us in yoke together, that we may walk together. Strife occurs when you pull against Me and the yoke becomes a burden, chaffing your neck and creating stress rather than joy and peaceful rest.”
“It is My great joy, daughter, when you walk in My, My, and only My truth which endures for all generations.”
You have seen the heart of God today. But I have an assignment for you. I have written a scripture which will lift you and accomplish God’s purpose. (Isaiah 55:10-11) Speak this out loud anytime and anyplace. Make certain you find more scriptures and add to the list. Be hungry for God’s Word, His love for you! Speak His truth and be not double minded—an easy prey for the enemy.
“Observe the commands of the LORD your God, walking in his ways and revering him. For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land–a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you.”
