A Crown and a Roar!

A Crown and a Roar!

“The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar he shall prevail against his enemies”

Isaiah 42:13

golden crownThe King of Sodom had to put on a show. Having lost in battle against the kings from the Salt Sea he was not going to be outdone by Abraham who rescued his people and took back the battle spoils.

“Abraham, thanks for your help. I’ll take my people but I’ll give you the goods from the war.” Oh, he was so grandiose!

Abraham gave a shocking reply, “I will not take so much as a shoe lace that you may not boast and say you have made me rich.”

And Abraham walked away—free. He was free from the praise and the rejection of men. He was free to let God honor him. He was free from doing courtesies to remain in favor with men. The crown on his head came from the Almighty—not men. And because it came from God—no man could take it away! And God called him a Father of Nations!

Have you been rejected? Have others placed labels upon you and have you let those labels stick? Have you been ballances of lawyour own worst enemy and put on the garments of failure, rejection, looser?

Dear One, if you determine your worth and value according to the world’s standards…then you are a looser!

And if you are guilty of the above know this—your enemy who has baited you is throwing a party! He shudders for the day you might believe the revelation of who you are—in Christ. This—is his greatest dread.

But I tell you today, you have a voice. You have a message. You have talents, hidden creativity that must not tremble in darkness…that must not be blotted out by the fear of rejection. Let it roar!

lionessYou have a directive from your Commander in Chief to let the roar of a lioness arise in you and change your world. There are others with whom the Lord wants you to run and hunt and bring restoration to the lost and wounded. You don’t need a title, you don’t need a committee. You only need a heart like His and an obedient willing spirit to fulfill all His will!

Cast off the garments of yesteryears. Come out of the shadows and receive your crown. And be faithful!

Let the roar within you—rise!
