Where are You, God?

Where are You God?

pray1“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
Romans 8:35

It was a long time ago. It was scary. I—was alone, in a strange place. I had a decision to make regarding someone’s life. But my suggestions were met with disdain and scorn, judgment. And—I was alone without the presence of a friend nearby—only long distance—I was alone!
But I felt the Lord’s presence even with little sleep. I knew He was there and heard my cries for wisdom and intervention. I knew He was there for I felt a strength and ability to concentrate that on my own I don’t possess. All I could do was my best and surrender to Him without responding to the harsh misunderstanding from another who was in great distress.
And because of Father I was able to stand, be still, pray violently, and again be still and know that He was/is God. Victory came within seven days. God worked in a way I had not even considered. A long awaited miracle was in the making.
And in all those things nothing was able to separate me from the love of God. There is nothing, beloved daughter, which can pull you apart from Father. Nothing! Let me get out His list.
Tribulation – suffering under great distress, pressure—anything that burdens your spirit.
Distress – anguish, being in a narrow, tight place
Persecution – oppression -despised and rejected
Famine – scarcity of food, hunger
Nakedness – a lack of clothing
Peril and Sword – being in danger and in the presence of ordinary violence and dissentions that destroy peace.
Are these things bigger than God? Do any of these things have the power to separate you from the love of God? Never!
The Lord has covered all the bases. You are assured of His constant abiding love no DSC00665matter the situation. How tenderly and eagerly He has given you proof in the above scripture of His constant desire to be with you! Fervently the Lord has detailed the infallibility of His longing to be ever near. And be confident that in all these circumstances Father God is more than able to meet every cry of your heart!
These truths beloved, are the cornerstone of your faith.

“I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. ”
Matthew 28:20b
