He Sees–YOU!

He Sees—You!
“That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father

which sees in secret himself shall reward thee openly.”
Matthew 6:4
The Lord saw

secretary clip artEvery day people came. Every day they had questions. And every day they were given answers—lengthy answers. And though in constant overload, godly secretaries remained diligent and kindness from their desk was engaging, warm, and caring. While in their office people felt valued and treasured and knew they had found a friend whose services would last for a lifetime.

The Lord said
“They shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him”
Malachi 3:17

The Lord saw

school house clip artShe spent the summer preparing for—the first day—and all the one hundred and seventy-nine other days. Joy she found in preparing stickers and charts and lessons for life. She was preparing a people. She was leaving a legacy. She was teaching in the presence of Sonshine. And though in overload, with diligence she served and poured water into the lives of those God sent her way.

The Lord said
“Give her of the fruit of her hands;
and let her own works praise her in the gates.”
Proverbs 31:31
The Lord saw

She rose before dawn, her face toward the heavens and often times her face on the floor but always—her hand on the Words of life. From broken alabaster her love spilled out and in this secreteagle clip art re-do place her Beloved smiled. And though in an overload of care, when times were hard and prayers  unanswered, the woman of God never ceased from lifting her eyes And upon wings of eagles the Lord lifted her and formed in her a vessel for His glory!

The Lord said
“But when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut the door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly”
Matthew 6:6

And the Lord saw when:
You wiped the fevered brow and lost sleep at a dear one’s side
You rocked your sobbing baby and held him through the night
You washed the dishes and baked with your little ones
who left their grubby prints adding to your labor
dog1You ironed your husband’s shirts and walked the great big dog
in dropping temperatures

Oh yes, and when you fed the cat!cat
You worked all night on a child’s school project
when the deadline was now!
You were ridiculed and snapped at because
someone else was really upset with himself
And the Almighty saw you slave at your work place and give your very best
only to see someone else receive the prize
while you felt so overlooked, unneeded and out of place

The voice I heard in my spirit this day was a burning I felt within. Your Father sees—YOU! Your Father longs to reward—YOU! You are the apple of His eye the joy of His life; His purpose for Calvary—His reward—was—YOU! And the same love with which Father loves His son is the same love He has for—YOU!

Father cries outllittle mouse and big heart
All my desire is toward you
I long to impart to you comfort
Know I see you
Know I love what I see
Know I treasure the beauty of your ways
Know I Am your God
And rest, my child, in my love, in My knowing—YOU!

Thank you Margie. That really provides incentive to do the right thing. When we stop and think about Who we are living for we behave a lot better.

Dear Judy, I love your comment. It is true for Father who sees in secret is the very one we are living for…no one else must own us. Thank you for your sterling example of kindness and joy which has always inspired me. I love you!

Once again, my love, your heart melts mine into an ocean of sweetness. Thank you for being this woman, Margie. None of your labor of love was unseen by the One with whom we have to do!!! None of it, my love. Give Jesus a hug for me today, will you? I love Him so! And I love and miss you too, dear friend. Thank you for inspiring us and faithfully writing, day in and day out. They are treasures for us now especially. XOXO
